Understanding Children’s Emotions: A Hand in Hand Parenting Talk

Are you struggling with how to respond to tantrums or wondering what to say or do when your child talks back?

Frustrated with power struggles?

Trying to figure out how to stay connected as they grow up?

Sick of the sibling dynamics?

Need some more sleep?

Do you want some help healing your child’s fears?

Would you like some more support for your parenting?

If you answered yes – I’m glad you’re here!

Come along to this informative talk to learn the brain science behind children’s emotions (and your own) and some powerful tools to transform your parenting. The Hand in Hand Parenting approach addresses the underlying cause of challenging behaviours and provides parents with valuable support.

“Every parent dreams of helping their child with the hard parts of childhood. And every parent wants to resolve their child’s behavior problems, not just cope with them. When parents know how to strengthen their connection with their child, the rewards in parenting flow in, and children thrive.” Patty Wipfler, founder of Hand in Hand Parenting

Cost: $10 – please book online using link below.

Lyra L’Estrange is a certified Hand in Hand Parenting Instructor, and has been teaching parents this approach since 2013. She has two children, who are her greatest teachers! You can find out more about her work at www.lyralestrange.com

Beginners Inversion Immersion

Life got you feeling Topsy Turvey?
Claire will help you get to grips with basic inversions from downward dog to shoulder (Sarvangasana) and head (Sirsasana) stands in this one hour workshop.
11th of March from 4 pm-5 pm.
Cost $20 all class passes can be used
Inverted postures improve lymph and venous circulation.
They work the heart and boot the immune system. Increased blood supply to the endocrine glands at the throat is the reason why inversions are considered to be hormonal balancers.
As holding a position with a whole new relationship with gravity demands a certain steadiness of body and mind, inversions are calming poses.
Inversions let us see things from a different angle, they lessen tiredness and develop concentration.
Inversions quiet the mind and settle the system down.
This is a Great opportunity to get comfortable in these poses in a relaxed workshop enviroment so you can feel more comfortable to introduce them at the end of your class or home practice
