Gain an understanding of your body and of yogic principles. A slow informative class where you don’t need to touch your toes! Monday Beginners class is an introduction into Yoga Flow. Where as Wednesdays class is an Iyengar style class focusing on alignment and precision.
Pregnancy
Time to nurture yourself and connect with your baby as well as Meet other Mummy’s. Making time to Honor the changing needs of your body. This class is intimate and we encourage sharing during class. Practicing Yoga during pregnancy is safe and can help with Pain and emotional balancing.
Family Yoga All ages
A Fun dynamic class full of Yoga games and Yoga play. Introducing Breath work and teaching Relaxation skills to your child/Children in a fun and sage enviroment. Family Yoga is great for building trust and developing strong family bonds. This is a fortnightly class.
Young Yogis 8-14 years
Set the foundation for physical strength, emotional balance, happiness, and overall wellbeing. Classes incorporate poses, breathing, partner & group work, games, stories, music and relaxation. Young Yogis will learn to relax, improve their concentration and focus, release tension and become more at peace with themselves.
Sound Meditation.
Open up your Heart and Mind and experience the joy of the singing bowls together in a group. Feel your body relax with different sounds, relieving stress and tension. And let thoughts and worries drop away, as we listen to the sound of silence.’
Vinyasa
A faster paced class to increase blood flow and build strength in the body. All abilities and fitness levels welcome.
Charity Class
This is a General Hatha Yoga class suitable for all abilities and bodies. This class will take you into Poses, Breath work, and Meditation. Also incorporating Karmic Yoga as all proceeds go to Buds To Blossoms. A charity that gives loving touch though pediatric massage and physical therapy to orphaned children in Vietnam and Nepal. These Children have physical disabilities and receive simple manual therapy to help release painful contractures and more important loving touch in the form of a cuddle.
Hatha Yoga.
Hatha Yoga is a Term used now for a General class. You will discover Yoga and all its aspects in this safe and rounded general Class. The Sanskrit word Hatha means Forceful and is actually the correct term used for all Asana or posture Yoga.
Yoga Pilates Fusion
A beautiful blend of weights Therabands and Yoga Asana. With Pilates mat work for Great core and healthy body toning. A great way to sculpt and tone without injury and keeping to the Yogic path and practice.
Sound Bath Meditation
A guided Meditation including Breath (Pranayama) Visualisation and an awakening of spirit. Then dropping into Silence and allow the sound of the Nepali singing bowls to recalibrate your systems. The Deepest meditation you will experience. Deeply uplifting with plenty of stillness and silence.
Candle Light Movement and Meditation
A slow meditative class with soft slow gentle movement, breath and guided visualisation, suitable for all abilities. Hot Towels Beautiful smells and all to the dancing light of Candles. Relax is the word for this class.
Qi Gong
Much like yoga, Qi Gong is an ancient practice of integrated posture, gentle movement, breath work, self massage, sound and focused intent. This practice originates from China, and is practiced with the intent of opening the flow of energy (Qi) within the meridian system used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to promote wellness and good health in mind, body and spirit.
But why does it seem that Meditation is a chore, or that it is difficult to achieve the quiet silent mind we are told is required to be good at meditation.
What if meditation were as easy as thinking of something you loved to do and diving deep into that experience; as simple as drinking your favourite beverage or eating a sweet chocolate; as full of wonder as looking at the night sky; as natural as enjoying being yourself.
We all have a natural meditation style that fits us like a glove and all we need to do to reap the benefits of meditation is to find our own gateways.
In this class we will explore various ways into meditation and develop a practice that will have you looking forward to your meditation time, reaping the benefits of a fuller, richer life of wonder and delight.
